There is no shortage of bias and words that trigger fiery emotions.
The internet has opened up a new level of communication. As society is just beginning to recognize how to best navigate this new avenue, one commonality seems to be obvious.
“Shock and awe” is the surest way to capture attention and gravitate to the top of the social media arena.
All forms of media, especially those of broadcast and digital have, to a large extent, evolved to the point where the audience expects larger and larger doses of adrenaline. As a byproduct, integrity has been put aside.
If you want to get to the top of Twitter, it doesn’t matter whether you believe what you are saying, as long as you come up with something outlandish enough to get noticed.
Addictions come in many forms

Unfortunately, there are those who, in order to elevate their self-esteem, need to convince themselves that others are beneath them. This is actually the fastest way to failure.
In the meantime hate is hate and it needs to end. It doesn’t matter which group is propagating hatred or to who.
Today, hate is repackaged and disguised, to the point that it is unrecognizable.
Some promote hatred camouflaged as “repairing a previous injustice”.
The world is not perfect, and can always improve. But hate and bias will only foster more of the same.
