Judge Amy Coney Barrett, has been nominated by the President to fill the seat of the late Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
Barrett is an attorney, jurist, and academic who serves as a circuit judge on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. She has been a professor of law at Notre Dame Law School, where she has taught civil procedure, constitutional law, and statutory interpretation. The hearings are scheduled for four days.
